CINCINNATI – After beginning the season a perfect 5-0, CCU heads to North Carolina this weekend looking to extend its win streak as it faces off against St. Andrews and the University of Charleston. First serve on Saturday (Feb. 4) is set for 11 a.m. followed by a 3 p.m. match as well.

ABOUT THE EAGLES
CCU (5-0, 1-0) begins the season with a perfect record after a straight-set win over Bluefield last weekend. The Eagles rank among the best in the country in various statistical categories, including fourth in hitting percentage (.297) and eighth in kills per set (12.06).
Defensively, CCU has piled up 161 digs, compared to opponents 130, led by Shaun Kanoho. The junior has seen action in 16-of-17 set and accounted for 2.56 digs per set with 41 on the year.
Logan Webber leads the NAIA in aces this season as the junior has registered 14 aces through five games. In addition, he paces the Eagles this year with 14 blocks, averaging 0.8 blocks per match. On the attack, Webber also sits atop the CCU depth chart with 60 kills to average 3.5 per set.
SCOUTING ST. ANDREWS
SAU (2-4, 1-1) hosts CCU after back-to-back losses to Campbellsville and Siena Heights. St. Andrews is strong on both sides of the net as they boast top-10 stats in both assists (234) and kills (250), while also registering the eighth-most digs in the NAIA (217).
On the attack, Robin Imar leads the country with 5.180 kills per game and third in total kills (114). Imar is on a three-game streak with at least 25 kills in a match. To assist Imar is Jackson Stark with 217 helpers on the year. Stark is recording nearly 10 assists per game, including a season-best 50 assist-showing against Siena Heights.
LOOKING AT CHARLESTON
Charleston faces off with CCU with a 4-3 (0-1) record after most recently topping Bluefield in straight-sets.
The Golden Eagles have combined for a .196 hitting percentage through seven games with 241 kills on the season (10.5 kills per set). UC has served up 23 aces with at least one per set.
Rajahl Moxey anchors the attack with 51 kills (2.43 kps) for a .127 hitting percentage. Eugene Stuart is not far behind with 36 kills but has registered a team-best (at least 25 kills) hitting percentage of .375.
Next weekend (Feb. 10 and 11) the Eagles travel to Michigan for the Siena Heights Tournament. CCU opens play on Saturday against Cardinal Stritch at 6 p.m., followed by the host school at 8 p.m. On Sunday, Cincinnati Christian is set to take on Lawrence Tech at 1 p.m. Links for live streaming and stats will be available in the coming days.
